J Creations, LLC
Hello and thank you for stopping by!
Let me first start by saying I LOVE “Love.” I absolutely love to capture love! The moment I get a call from a newly engaged couple I get insanely excited! I want to hear about how they met, when they first realized they were in love, and that moment when they decided that they were going to be “forever.” I will love your love story so be prepared to tell it!
I am a romance movie junkie. My favorite part of any movie is the "meet cute". I am always searching for the next great love movie. Yes, my romance DVD collection is larger than my action/adventure collection!
Yes! I admit it! I love and miss “The Hills!” I have yet to find a show that matches it! I have the complete first three seasons on DVD. So if you are an owner of four and five and you might be willing to part with them…let’s talk!
I am a father of five wonderful kids that I love with all my heart and soul. My partner in life Elisa, who also works right alongside me was the first to realize my potential. She truly brought out the very best in me. XOXO!
As hard for me as it is to admit this—I am a crier. Yes, I am the photographer at the wedding that gets caught up in the moment with everyone else. I can't help it! When you look through a camera lens it's like watching a movie. I love it when a couple’s love story is so strong that it’s like a spell that is casted over the crowd. How can one not fall victim to it. So if you think you will cry at your wedding, chances are I will too. Don’t worry, I won’t miss a thing—I hide behind my camera!
My photography style - photojournalist with a fashion editorial approach. That just basically means I love to capture that “in the moment” look as well as what you might see in a magazine. I love it when a client says “Wow! How did you even catch that?” My goal is to capture every moment in your wedding while remaining unobtrusive. Let’s face it, weddings go so fast for the bride and groom. From the morning to the very end is usually kind of a blur. My goal is to make sure you get to see all the little things that you may have missed and all the moments you did see, but just how I see it through my lens.
I am constantly learning. In November of 2017, I earned my Bachelor of Arts degree in Digital Film with an emphasis in Production from Grand Canyon University --Go Lopes! Currently, I am just a few months away from my Master's in Organizational Leadership and Entrepreneurship, again at GCU..whoot whoot! This industry is forever evolving. With the introduction of digital film, there are many tools at our disposal to make every image unique in its own special way. I try really hard to be “ahead of the game” at all times.
As I see it, to understand photography means to understand light. Whether it is natural or by flash, you have to know both. I can walk into any situation and take a great picture. I will not be that photographer wasting valuable time trying to figure out my settings. Every minute counts! My main photo sessions with the bride and groom are typically in two parts--sometimes three if you opt to do a “first look.” The first session takes place just after the ceremony to maximize the natural beauty of sunlight. The second takes place later in the evening and is slightly more studio-like using up to three flash strobes to create a dramatic fashion-editorial look.
My favorite client? The ones who are willing to step out of their comfort zone for a day and just have fun! Be in the moment! It's your day! The more you do so, the more you will love your images—that I promise! To me it’s like acting for a day. I swear, one day Hollywood will find me and they will simply say “now here is the guy we have been looking for to replace Jim Carrey.” Yes, Jim Carrey...with a camera!
If you absolutely love what you have read so far then we have to meet! Let’s get together so you can "tell your story"!
"Jason was recently the videographer at our wedding and he took some photos. He was very professional, curtious, and easy going. Jason is very organized and made sure he captured every moment. My husband and I are very pleased with his work and have recommended him to family and friends."

"Jason is a true professional and I am so glad to have had him as a part of my recent wedding! We used him for both the cake and photography. The cake was great and so far the pictures look amazing! He is very quick to respond and not bothered by the little questions unlike some other people that I encountered while planning my wedding. Thanks for helping to make my day so special!"

"Jason's custom cakes are beautiful and taste awesome!! We had Jason make a Lion King themed cake for a baby shower and loved the experience so much that we had him do a purse & shoe cake for my daughter's bday.
